Private birding in San Pedro de Atacama and the Altiplano

Valeria is a naturalist and birding guide who has lived in San Pedro de Atacama for over a decade, after growing up in northern Argentina. Her private trips link four very different habitats within reach of town: desert oases, cactus canyons, the Atacama Salt Flat and the high Altiplano wetlands. Each outing is shaped around the birds her guests most want to find, from Tamarugo Conebill in the oases to Diademed Sandpiper-Plover and Horned Coot up high.
